Learjet

Bob, what a nice Learjet. Is it your own design or a kit? What drive are you using (fans, motors, cells). Man, that could be a nice next project after completing my Albatros L39.

Lear Jet

It's not my design. The person holding it in the picture is the designer. Marty Snell. The plane uses two WeMoTec Midi fans, Hacker B50-18S motors and 16 CP 2400 for each motor. The fuselage is fiberglass with foam/balsa wing. The fuselage length is 79 inches and the wing span is 69 inches. Flying weight is less than 12 lbs. It has flaps and retracts. Flight times are over 4 mins. Marty should be bringing 3 kits to sell at the rally.

Have a nice day

Well I'm debating on if I'm going or not. I've got five flights on my midi F-18 now and I've decided I don't like it. It doesn't respond to up elevator input very quickly until I get to 1/2 stick, then I guess the LEX grabs a lot of air and it pitches up violently and sometimes tip stalls. I think it's time to move on to a new project.

I'm discouraged but you guys posting all of these pictures makes me want to go!

I'll be there!!! Can't miss this one...It's always a lot of fun. I'll have a Hawk (see picture ...sorry, not EDF) and an FVK He 162...plus the F-14 in its current state....
