You could maybe bind it with your favorite TX using "Anylink" if your not a Esky electronic fan. $25.00.

(check compatibility list).

OR ... you buy a 7$ turnigy 6ch RX, take the 4in1 apart and scrap the Esky RX, and then fly it with the T9X ...

True you can use the anylink with the listed TX per the site, but The anylink works only with Tactic SLT RX ($49) or any TX-R plane/heli from Hobbico, ie can't use it with a spektrum RX, etc.....

you can also bind this to a T9X using a 8$ RX from flysky and the turnigy radio from hobbyking.

And MANY people (who kind of moved on from coaxes and only return back here sporadically) DO have either Flysky or Turnigy Transmitters ...

I'm embarrassed ! When I was flying coaxials a lot, I collected up quite a few Esky helicopters and Tx's. My wife read in the paper where the Salvation Army was looking for toys to give to age appropriate kids for Christmas gifts. I called them and told them what I would donate, good broken or otherwise. They were very excited so I asked my wife to help load up some boxes of Esky helicopters and 2.4 Tx's. She did a very good job..... but what in the world was I thinking?? She gave the Salvation Army about 25 good Tx's and a dozen or so old, but functional heli's. Now, it turns out that she gave away transmitters that go to other helicopters.... and gave away helicopters that will never work with the Tx's.

So, I'm sitting here looking at 5 Tx's and 6 coaxials ... and none of the Tx's go with the helicopters because they're gone! I should know this, but I don't.

Is there anyway to re-bind a 2.4g Rx with a non matching, same type of 2.4ghz Tx??

Somebody say yes! Or did I toss out all of my coaxials?

I have a DX6i TX. I mounted an EFLH1024 RX onto my V4 (for a CX2). It works great. The RX does cost around 60 bucks:

Plug and play.

At $59 ea, I think they're going to add up to the price of a new helicopter.

Thanks Mike... this would work great to solve the problem. Sometimes I miss the days when you could put all of your flying machines on the same frequency as the Tx. I guess that would be a redneck Spektrum! lol Been a while since we've posted together. I hope you and the family are healthy, wealthy and wise in the New Year.

Sorry Buzz, as usual I read the post wrong Now I see the situation you're in. That sucks big time. Thank you for the kind words. I wish you and your family the same as well.

Yeah, it's been a while huh? Every time I hear of somebody getting their heli caught in a tree, I always think of you out in your driveway with...ehem

I'll see if I can find it. I'm really glad that it wasn't a 450 Trex!
