I posted on the Champ thread that I am having problems with my stock battery that came with the plane. Stick to the Thunder Power 160's and you'll be OK.

I'm disappointed to announce that I failed terribly trying to refurbish some Aero Nuts motors. After three test flights and a bit of tweaking, power diminishes greatly around 60% of the batteries capacity and the red light on my 4in1 (EFLH1024 RX) stays red at -50% throttle. At this point the heli gently lands with no power to stay aloft.

For now, I'll replace with a fresh set of Aero Nuts (as i need to fly now) and work on another set needing refurbishing. Of course I'll be taking a different approach of trying to refurbish the next set.

@Jack So, there are NO dirty little secrets to report as of yet

Mike.

It is beyond my wildest imagination why those idiots are throwing away a good market for their motors. People want them, what's the problem?!!

Hi. I have a V4 that has a tail boom conversion. I have the original canopy and an eflite canopy. they are both all cracked up from crashes. Is there a sharp looking canopy like a walkera or something that would fit with say minor modding? thanks

I have two custom Xtreme canopies from Jim:
djkhobby.com
His RCG handle is "Stamp." He does excellent custom work and he won't kill you on the price. And, NO, I'm not a shill or what ever

Well, I just replaced my old Aero Nuts with new ones. I have one set left I brought this up before, about getting some more Aero Nuts and only a couple members came forward to purchase these motors. Sheets, I can't even find AFC motors which were suppose to be pretty good.

Are we reducing ourselves to go to the bottom of the barrel and go back to stockers:e ek:

For the AFC motors:

And of course you got all the other options like going brushless (in this case there are tons of possible motors) or you use the hated Xtreme motors, right???

I would have one hell'ava time trying to explain to the wife why I need $26.00 motors (no shipping) in my V4. That will go over like Led Zeppelin And I love Led Zeppelin I'd rather suck on the end of a 45CAL before asking the wife.

Xtreme motors!!!! I would rather stock the shelves full of stockers.
