I finally had a nice evening to take out my Lama 4. I enjoyed a Rhino battery's worth of flying. Anybody else been flying one lately?

The V4 or Rhino battery?? Last week I've been enjoying many flights with the V4 and 750mah Rhino batts. Awesome

Jack I think I may have solved the case of the "unknown" and "unmarked" velcro that I like very much. Holds the 750 Rhino in place nicely. I'll be heading down to Helidirect tomorrow to check out some parts for another member. I'm pretty sure it's made by Great Planes. I will buy some and bring it home to dissect Will confirm tomorrow

Mike.

Hurry down there before they get rid of the very last part any of us would want to buy. What are they doing, just going high-end or something? Most common heli parts or even mod stuff isn't stocked anymore.

Can't Bind

(Noobie post, please forgive if made in error)
We have an E-Sky Lama 4, with a EK2-0705B 4in1, at 72MHz.
Attempting to bind results in alternately flashing red and green LED.
All batteries are fully charged, throttle and trim set to zero. I have tried removing and reseating crystals in TX and RX. I understand there's no reset or rebind button on this MHz model.
Any help appreciated!

Not knowing the history of the heli, are both Crystals the same frequency and is there a TX and RX pair and are they in the right location, TX in the TX and RX in the receiver?

It seems like a boring read to me. I have the 0404 72mhz TX. Does your's have four dip switches on the front of the TX...lower right? One of them could have accidental got switched. Mine are, left to right: AIL & ELE = up. THR &RUD= down. There are also dip switches in the battery compartment that can be seen when you remove the batts. I doubt very much if these switches moved. You would have to drop the TX pretty hard for these to move.

Mike.

thanks for your suggestions.
re. "are both Crystals the same frequency and is there a TX and RX pair and are they in the right location, TX in the TX and RX in the receiver?" - both Crystals as supplied (same frequency), and in their respective TX and RX.
re. "Does your's have four dip switches on the front of the TX" - it does, have tried your suggestion, but sadly makes no difference (I believe our TX came with: up, down, up, down) - but will investigate those in the batt compartment...
