How I wish that is all I had. Some mornings I wake up to 3 foot drifts outside my door sometimes but it is nothing to those who live further North.

LOL Buzz, always love bugging you!

Guys,

If you want some hot air...come to Chicago. With all the blowhard politicians here, we'll keep you warm

You guys DO know we have things called insulation, winter coats, heaters, etc, etc.
STOP COMPLAINING BOUT THE COLD...it's not cold yet!

It's 55 here...we're out in t shirts running trucks today
Gonna get a lot colder before it's all over with.
Usually starts getting really cold in January round here.

Oh btw: HAPPY LAZY SUNDAY

Jim

LOL Jim I thought your post sounded like hot air! You must be one of those so called "politicians"!

Well it is a little below T shirt weather here but the sun is nice and warm. Bring the trucks here bud, would love to see them go. Do you do any ramp jumps?

I sometimes think of getting a RC snowmobile but I wonder how well they would stand up in the cold.

Hi Durk,

I knew that would get ya.
I'm full of hot air...from both ends

I'm glad to read that your knee is better.

I sold my HBK3 without electronics.
I kept the electronics/ radio for the hydrofoam project.
Just waiting on some misc parts from HobbyKing to arrive...then final assy.

Hi Jim:

Yes that is what I like about you, you have a way of cheering me up!

One nice thing about the cold weather, a crockpot of home made chili is always good for supper on a cold day!

What is this hydrofoam project you are talking about? A boat of sorts? Sounds like fun.

When I am all healed up next spring I plan to get my tugboat back into the water for it's maiden voyage after installing all new electronics. I have been unable to try it out. With the dang knee giving out the way it did I would have been floating in the pond instead of the boat!

For those of you that have never seen it, just click on the link in my Blog.

I also have a little balsa air boat kit that I got at a flea market years ago. It takes a .020 glo engine. I hope to get the time someday to assemble it and use a battery powered motor on it. That would be FUN!

The max the battery can last is 2 hours if I remember right, but the longest the helicopter can stay in the air is 15 minutes. Also the amount of video you can shoot is limited by what size micro SD card you use.

The longest my current chopper can stay airborne is 10 minutes, so that means I can record 12 flights before needing to recharge the camera.
