So what issue are you having? Other than it being a bit sensitive to vibration when it's on the the chopper I've got no complaints about mine.

Even works great as a web cam if you install the drivers for it.

The charge light never goes out on mine. I usually just let it charge a couple of hours and unplug it.

You have to hold down the button closest to the lense in order to get it to start recording. Once it blinks it's recording. If the light is solid it isn't recording. If the light is off it is.

Holding down the button till it starts blinking is the key. If you press and release the button it just takes a picture.

I found that in order to fly at night you pretty much need a minimum of 3 LED. I flew with the v3 version of this light kit:

http://lazertoyz.ncweb.net/RCLights.html

Here's some videos with it on my chopper:

Lama V4 with light kit. (1 min 5 sec)

Lama V4 Night Flight (0 min 45 sec)

I modified the kit and added a blue LED wired into the tail that was run off of the same power as the green LED. They both had the same forward amperage so it worked out fine.

The second video it is pitch black outside. The video is taken from about 35 feet away, so you can see just how bright the lights are.

No it didn't effect the flight time. 20mah is what all the lights draw together. An average flight for my brushless chopper was 15 minutes. During 15 minutes the lights would draw 5mah.

There are 900 seconds in 15 minutes. 5mah is .55555555 (to infinity) percent of 900mah. According to my calculator that means that the 15 minute flight would be reduced by 5 seconds by using the lights.

Edit:

That was using the 20mah estimate on the site. If you figure in the max amperage the LED can draw, it works out to 80mah between 4 LED. Now take that 80mah and divide by 4 (1/4 of an hour). That leaves you with 20mah over the 15 minute flight. Now divide 15 by 900 (percentage of total power) and you get 0.022222222222222222222222222222222. Multiply your total flight time by the percentage used and you get 19.9999999999999999999999999998 seconds. So in a worst case scenario the flight time on a 900mah battery will be reduced by about 20 to 30 seconds on a brushless setup!

For a brushed setup figure a nominal 12 minute flight. 80mah works out to 16mah over your 12 minute flight (80/5). 16mah/900mah = 1.7777777777777777777777777777778% power usage over the flight. 720 times that = 12.79 seconds lost flight time.

$29.95 as listed on the site.

This kit is extremely light weight and well worth the money. The strobe effect on the year of the chopper works extremely well and lights are easy to see up to around 200 to 250 feet (yeah I've had my chopper up that high at night).

That's no longer my Lama v4, it's my neighbor down the road's. I used a DX7 and an AR6100 receiver (same thing I use on my current 450).

Edit:

My Lama didn't have a "brushless kit". I used 2900kv Turnigy motors, 6 amp Turnigy Plush ESC, a Turnigy vtail mixer, and a Telebee GR201 gyro with it.
