Futaba's TM-14 module FASST
Futaba has changed the 14MZ-12Z-12FG transmitter module.
Has anybody heard anything? http://2.4gigahertz.com/modules/modules-receivers.html |

Nope. News to me. Looks like they had an early version and figured out how to make it more compact. I like the looks of the new one.

Yes. Looks good. I don't see a cable that has to be connected to the DSC port. Wonder if they airbrushed it out .....

I hope the change doesn't cause a delay in the release date (late August).

More plastic problems
Only kidding Seriously, these are interesting times in RC technology, but with all new technologies it's not always a good move to be an early adopter. Patience is a virtue, and it can save you money in the long run. Personally, I'm a prime candidate for a FASST module for my 9Cs, but with only 3 1/2 months left in the flying season locally (not counting the obligatory monthly "ALL Season Flier" Parky flights on the property) I probably will wait until next Spring. This might be the reason for the change of the 12FG.
And, someone noticed the lack of the channel number dial
