It's kind of a half piro flip the ends with a smack level to the ground then held for a split second in one spot without moving.. Looks like a long, slowed, half piro flip that arches to the ground. A.K.A. a Helismith landing lol

Are you on mode 2? I saw mode 2 piro flip is much logical sense, means like stiring in the flip direction? Mode 1 is kinda of not logical stiring. Wish i have started with mode 2 in the first place.
I'm on mode 2.. i meant those half piro or mobius flips you are doing.. it looks like foward elevator then left rudder to tail in... i can do half piro flips but mine look different lol

Maybe I have too much forward elevator. I will try less forward elevator tomorrow flight to improve my half piro. Hope I will not hit the dirt.

Here's a cool video made from a sim animation that clearly shows the sticks and heli movements. It begins with half piro flips and then puts two of them together for full piro flips.

I downloaded this vid from YouTube to be able to refer to it any time. (258.5 megs)

BTW: conditions were perfect at the Berkeley Marina around noon today!

I put 8 packs through nano in my kitchen: only practicing slow pirouettes upright and then inverted. Last battery tried some back/front flips... All in 2.5 x 2.5m space. It is quite tight and very educational! Especially with very, very slow pirouettes! Good thing was that on last batteries I saw improvement and was able to keep it quite steady and close to one spot.

Yeah...Chad is on helifreak for the most part. He has on his youtube page step by step videos from basic 4 point hover to advanced flight. Think he flies in South Jersey.

Clicky...I'm really looking at getting a micro next month. Has it helped your flying more than the sim? Or is it more to keep things fresh in your mind on the days you can't fly at the field?

I hovered my nCP for the first time since I got it for Christmas, I am not disappointed, this is a great little heli, I just need to get 10 paks and some parallel charging cables.
