AAAARRRH!! My pet hate is people zooming in on a heli. DONT DO IT!!!! You can't follow it, you can't focus on it, the viewers hate it. Stay zoomed out, i'd rather see an in focus spec than a blur of nothing.

p4ddy— easy there. A blur and a speck are functionally about the same. Until I ran across this and a couple of other videos it never occurred to me that you could auto a 250.

P.S.: got a cold or flu and fear to fly 'cause I'll surely crash.

lol yeah.... but I can hover the plane better than the heli. these lil hel's can kick my arse sometimes!!

Three more flights on my FBL Blade 400 and two more on my FBL Blade 450 this morning.

@Nute - definitively a tiny plane! (I managed already to insult someone else by similar statement - '...similar size as that one...' while it was good 10 inches bigger )

BTW where's the other wing? Why didn't you just pushed it through the window?

Put about 10 packs through my UMX Mig and B3D during my lunch break.

Speaking of break, I finally killed the B3D. Inverted into fence, I thought I had it cleared but I nipped it just enough to smash it up.

That is OK, I've been flying it like a madman because I have a bare Sbach airframe I'm about to transfer the guts to.. 3S works well on the brick, can't wait to try 3Sbach!

Three more flights on my Blade 400 converted to FBL. Total of 33 since converted and which I had done it long ago.

Yes! Flew a few packs this morning through my AS3X converted Sbach. Finished last night and maidened this mornin. Flew great!!!!

Four flights by me and one by my son on my B 450 FBL this morning. Shack down flights for HS 5065MG digitail cyclics I installed yesterday before the questional quality Blade DS 75 s which came in it (used) could die on me..


RCnGuy Blade 400 has a Tarot ZYX-S and a Tarot head.
B450 has a Copter X Cx 3x 1000 and a Blade 450x head.

Tarot and Copter X FBL units are much the same and I use John_NZ's computer GUI software for setting up both units.

Cool. I have not seen or heard much about the ZYX units. They sound similar to Beast-X.

They are to µBeast as cheap rate only gyros to expensive head holding ones.

Maybe they are not that bad, but...

With µBeast - you put it on your helicopter (no matter of servos or many other things), go through setup and fly. You can fine tune it as well, but it is really really fine tuning...

With ZYX you are on similar territory as cheap tail gyros: you cheap tail gyro on big heli with fast and strong tail servo and spotless mechanics and you'll get close to decent results. Deviate of it - and you're for endless games of tweaking things to get them working. Not saying you can't but...

My personal experience was that until I moved link balls on servo arms to the last, furthest hole on ds922 servos I couldn't make 450 to 'hold'. It would be almost there, but then steady breeze would cause it to start leaning opposite way. Even when I did so, I still have same 'rate' feeling (opposite to 'holding' as in tail gyro speak).

I am still to make tail work close to crispiness of µBeast and at least without bouncing...

I did set one 450 Pro (HK version) with it. It flies and flies better than with FB (at least on 'normal' HS upto 3000 RPM), but it is still not 'it'...

It is cheap and I wouldn't put off anyone trying it - but I wouldn't really compare it to µBeast!
