I had the turnigy heli motor on it to start, super heavy..the rimfire 46 was much lighter and faster, use a 12x8 gas prop and the thing will sound amazing..all the old timers at the field kept asking me if it was a gasser

I'm running a rimfire. 60 in mine right now with a 12x6mas and it sounds the same but the speed isn't where I want it. Running on 6s. Maybe I should push this one on 7s. Using a 100 amp CC ESC on it.

I wish hobbyking would make a version of the easymatch motors with the rimfire specs. I hate wasting money playing with motors.

i think that prop is way to small for that motor, i would go up a bit in prop and see if that make a difference

Meant to say 12x8. Its a great motor but the kv isn't high enough for my liking. She's fast but,but,but.... Need more! If i had put a little notch in my plane with a sharpie for every flight it had it would be black by now. I can't kill it and figure it's time to push the limits. I mean really push them!

Now I'm gonna have some fun. Put in a turnigy air 50/55 700kv motor with a 12x6 mas prop on 7s. Still under spec but taxi tests appeared to be insane. Can't wait to test her out. 8s will be the next flight after that.

Go for a 12x8. As you go up in voltage, amps should come down. Only drawback is that the small prop makes for a hot landing and takeoff. No help from windmilling. Mine on 6s using the rimfire.46 screams with a 12x8. Im tempted to try a 12x10 but I'd be def. over the motor specs and the amps would be through the roof........

Next prop I try is a mas 13x6. I put on a 12x8 apc electric prop but wasn't impressed. Didn't meter it yet though.

Oh Baby.. 13x6 k series prop with this motor on 7s is fast. 3/4 throttle and she starts with the supersonic tip speed action happening already. Gonna mess with more props for my 8s run but i'm extremely pleased already. Way out performing my rimfire.60. I'm liking this plane like it's new to the hangar again.

Off the top of my head i think the amps were at 56 and watts still down at 1270. Speed is a tough call, going to bring someone out with me next flight to hold the gun. Guessing an easy 125 from what ive seen in my other planes ive done. At 3/4 throttle prop tip whine kicks in already. Sounds awesome, almost like a twin engine when i back out of it.

my revolver with a rimfire 46, 12x8 prop on 6s 5000 40c packs only does about 115, and it puts out close to 1700watts. how are you getting 125 on only 1300 watts...def let me know how it goes, i'm looking to get a little more speed out of her next season. i was even thinking about going with a 12s 3000mah setup just cant find the right motor

I'll let you know what the gun actually says hopefully soon. Guessing at the speed. Just went by what my Reno racer looks like at speed. This looked pretty close to that. 8s is as far as I'm going on this plane. Anymore weight and I'll have to find a hwy to land on for the room needed. Lol.
