AUW ended 449 g. Flies well with the cam on top. Did not withstand a tree-landing (...those magnetic trees, you know).

Yeah, looking not so good anymore... but PU-glue and styropian-balls do wonders . Airborne again for the second life. Not a beauty anymore, but still flying.

Second life did'nt last very long... dumb pilot with dumb thumbs (me) did a (un) CFIT. Luckily got a last picture spitseconds before the final crash. Now the beauty is a beast ... waiting for resurrection. But a new baby is on the way...

This one is reinforced with balsa on all edges. Going for a semi-fuse this time. And of cause the right motor: 2212-06. The fins are still waiting for the right angle. Hopefully will last longer than the first one .

very nice! I have the smaller 19" F-22 but follow this thread too. I'm so very tempted to build a larger (100%) F-22!!!

Still some work to do. Fins angled. Really didn't like the color...

Went on with the paint job. Have yet to decide on some details. Thought of using the colors from the flags of my country and the neighbouring one (where i too fly)

Today was maiden-time for my F22. Despite light winds, which grew stronger up in the air, I gave full throttle and did the "wing-throw" start. I was a little bit sceptical, because the AUW ended 660 g - a lot more than my first F22. But this one is a semifuse, reinforced F22, and with a (too) big battery plus 2 cams on it. After about 3 minutes of running time, I loaded 660 mAh back into the battery - this should give me nearly 10 minutes of motor-time in the air on that 2400 mAh LiPo. I think if I go lighter (a 1300 mAh LiPo and no cams), it will be more aerobatic and the flight time will be still around 6 minutes. One thing I experienced is that the controls have yet too much throw, as a "first aid" i reduced the throws to 80% and used 30% expo. But in the long run I'll change the connection on the elevon-horns to the more outerward holes.

F22 maiden flight (4 min 35 sec)

I wanted to build a park flyer F-15 and it said follow the instructions as that of the F-22. So I sent the pdf plan to our local printing company and instructed them to print to scale at 100% on A0 size paper.
It layout occupied most of the paper but upon closer inspection, I saw that the scale was in correct. I measured 3/4 of an inch on the plan when it is supposedly a full inch.
There goes $10!
I need some guidance to get the scale correct and give the precise instructiuons to the press. Please help.
Did I not get the paper size correct or was there additional information I missed to tell the press people?

It probably depends on their particular software/printer. I know when I take my plans to Kinkos they use adobe and just set it up to print with no scaling.

Take a look at the page handling section on the attached picture.
