Great deals. Tried to place an order using Priority shipping, and although I check the correct box, it adds Express Mail charges when I check out. Does it have to do with the size of the order?

Store seems to work correctly when I try it. I was able to make it through the checkout process with priority shipping.

Update: Second try, I found it. Seems to be location specific. Priority should work now, but it still may screw up on USPS. I removed Express so for some reason it will always quote priority no matter what selected if outside of Colorado.

I'll see what I can do. UPS shipping selection seems to work correctly.

SHIPPING CALCULATOR FIXED!

After some investigation into the problem described above, I was able to fix the PHP code.

It was a simple bug but took a while to figure out. The shipping module is my own so no one to blame but my bad coding I guess.

Kits and carbon ribbon orders will be heading out starting Thursday. All kit orders are ready and many even boxed up.

All orders not involving carbon have been shipping as I finish them off.

FED EX sucks! They wouldn't leave carbon at my door even though I phoned them ahead of time and left a message on the front door of my house.

They require a signature for delivery no exceptions.

I sent a note to the carbon manufacture complaining as well.

From now on I won't except any deliveries that require signature. It's too much of a hassle.

I live 25 miles from my shop and work. I live alone.

I called the delivery guy tonight as well but he said he was finished for the day of course. Now I will have to take a half day off work tomorrow to wait around for FedEx.

When I've had this happen to me , I go to the warehouse where they receive and distribute all of the stuff. They have a place to pick it up in person and they usually stay open till 7 or 8 pm. I've done this with UPS also.

If I remember correctly, FedEx had a form I could fill out and sign which allowed them to leave the package without a signature. Check to see if they still do that. I don't believe UPS has that feature.

Carbon arrived at 1:00pm today. I waited around all morning for it even though the driver told me he would be there 10:30am on the phone last night.

BTW, I have my release on file with both UPS and FedEx to allow them to leave packages. FedEx recently changed their signature rules and now there is no way around signing if the shipper requests it. I live between 3 major centers and have no idea which city the FedEx distribution center is now in for where I live.

I won't be accepting any packages I need signature for from now on. I'll make it known when I place any orders.

All orders will be shipped before I leave for Glacier Ridge event tomorrow that I now have pending.

SALE ends Saturday.

Any orders from now till Monday will go out Tuesday next week.
