Could anyone ID this model for me?

Guys

I picked this little glider up second hand a while back (for the servoes really), but after talking to some people on here I might well gear it up and fly it. I've never flown an RC sailplane, only IC and electric power,

Does anyone have any idea what it is and what sort of role it was designed for. Do I just lob it off a slope or what?

It has a very very thin fibreglass fuselage, built up wing and solid balsa tail surfaces. I haven't weighed it yet.

Any ideas?

Brian

I can't identifiy the name of the model but it sure appears to be a handlaunch type sailplane - there is probably a fingerhole in the bottom of the fuse at the trailing edge of the wing. Not much good for sloping but great for improving low level (altitude) thermaling skills. You might post the pic on the HLG forum. Good Luck............

Yeah, I agree...it's probably meant to be a handlaunch plane. However, there's no reason you can't use it on the slope in light wind. HLG's make great light lift slopers.
