Extreme RC F86 Sabre
This is the F86 Sabre airframe as sold by wattage originally, revamped with EDF64 fan and ERC2040 inrunner, running on PQ1200XQ 4s1p 30c & Extreme Power 1300 4s1p 25c packs.
AUW is 486 grams with DN LV36A esc, two Batan 9 gram servos, Corona RD820-II dual conversion receiver. After this maiden flight I cut back the aileron rates and she flew superbly on the second flight, smooth as silk. Controls are the original linked elevon setup but with the servos on the top, and custom horns out the bottom of the aileron running up to the elevator. Looks great in the air, now its time to paint and detail her up!
