Mini Showtime 4D ARF from E-flite

Hi all,

E-flite has added another plane to their Mini series with the addition of the Mini Showtime. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdId=EFL2500 The specs don't look to bad with 414 sq. inches and a flying weight of 26 to 29 ounces. They were pretty accurate with the specs on the recently released Extra 260 so hopefully this could be pretty nice. Let the comments begin.

Hmmm...SFGs look a little small. They're not quite as big as the wings...

Interesting.... moved the SFG's to the tips (ala MFX). I think it looks like a better setup than the midwing SFG design. Should be interesting to see how this one performs.

Now remember what they said about Dumbo... If my memory serves me the big ears worked pretty well for him.

I for one think it looks pretty neat---The park 480 is a great motor for eflite new "mid sized" planes to be modeled for.

Ben ---- definaty paint it up like ears---would be hilarious.

It looks ok to me also, kinda wish they would have done a different covering scheme though. I'd just like it to do a little pattern flying with. Should be a nicer plane than the Brio was.

Hmm, me likey... Although, I wish someone could explain why they have an obsession with the SFG's. My MFX, KE's like it's its job with out them. (whew, I can speak well)

What? You mean people actually use those things? Me-obsessive about SFG's-no way! Seriously though, I find that the rolling manuevers are a lot easier with them on and it usually seems to help with high alpha stuff too. Does make them float on landing. But I don't fly without them now if the plane needs it. You end up using a lot less rudder and that really helps me smooth out rolling manuevers. My obsessive 2 cents

Edfrules: A little bit of an obsession you have there.

Anyone else hoping that because the release date is so "close" that'll actually be on time?

Nice looking aero. The latest E-Flite releases definately look a little sharper than last years offerings.

As for the SFG's, Im all for em as it lets you have 2 totally different handling aeros for the price of one. Its just hard to stop K/E'ing everywhere when you have them fitted , just have to be a bit more carefull with those landings

I just added another plane to my to buy list. Am I the only person that has a to buy list that is way too long? I love it that there are so many new 480-.30 sized electric airplanes.
