Hello, 911? I'm calling to report a stabbing!

Here are some pics of Flying J's patented combat maneuver -- the "Double Dagger." He managed to somehow impale my poor, defenseless Pinata with not one, but both of his prop blades. One of them pierced all the way through and was sticking out the other side. The best part about it was how hard we were laughing when we saw it.

Blackhawk bosses day

A few pics from the Blackhawk outing with the army national guard today. It was a beautiful day for flying. This is not exactly RC but I thought you might be interested since I have mentioned it in the other thread.

Spitfire - The Revival

The old Spitfire has new life!

Incident 1

Many of you may remeber my beautiful little Spitfire which met its FIRST demise at the hands of Jon L. (Broke the fuse in half and chomped off a good portion of the right aileron - see Death1).

Incident 2

While flying around waiting for Jon F. to put up his corsair I went head-on with a Roswell (Broke the fuse in half AGAIN, Broke the nose section forward of the canopy, broke motor mount, broke one tip of the elevator, and put a huge crack right accross the base of the wing.)

I had actually pulled all the electronics out and put them in the new corsair. This thing was ready to go into the garbage, but something inside me said give it yet another chance.

Well, I took my time and with a little touch of TLC it's back. You've already seen it fly and after fixinf the slop in the ailerons it is a BLAST! Definitely deserving of a new paint job (the canopy still needs to be re-painted)

Birthday Breakfast Photos

Here are a couple of photos from the day we helped Todd and Jon L celebrate their birthdays. Thanks to Todd's wife, Shauna, for providing the great food. As many of you know, that automatically makes her the club president (till someone else brings food).

I recognize Todd and Shauna in the photo, but the rest are a bunch of guys off the street that just heard there was free food.

If any of you would like a larger version of either of these, PM me with an email address that will take a large file.

Jeff

This is normally not a place for sad pictures but I dropped by the Spanish Fork UVA Flying Field and took some pictures of the present status.
