TT Raptor 90 Electric conversion ?

Hi All - Have been offered an older Raptor 90 for a few $$ fully complete but noyt keen on gas. Would like to convert it to Brushless to matc my very loved and daily flown TT Mini Titan. I read in RC Heli there was a copy making e-conversion for large Helis like the Raptor 90. Any Idea where to get this or anyone else done it yet ?

Thanks.

There are lots of them around – one of the easiest conversions I have tried. Mine started out as a 60 but then I converted to a 90 EP.

Hear a couple of photos of my current configuration.

Neu Motors 1915/1.5YF
13s LiPo (that’s right 13s, 2 - 6s packs plus one single) I have use Max Amps 4200 and 5000 packs as well as TP4600 LiPo packs. The 4200 packs did not have very much power.
CC HV85 ESC
Aerospire eMultiGov governor
Radix Blades
QUK Metal Head
Futaba PCM radio

This is a very reliable and durable helicopter. I have been flying it almost every week since I built it last year. It does not have the high power to weight ratio like the Raptor E620 but it does plenty good 3D and is very big and impressive.

The new Z-Power Z70 motors should be even better when they become available.

Wow - I am impressed ! The only reason I am looking at doing this is the fact I have been offered one so cheap. I run FP 2170 25c on my Mini T and power is just fantastic. I assume the batts were very pricey ?

How do you rate the Neu motor ? and what would you estimate the total cost of the e-conversion would be ? Is there a plug n play engine mount or kit to do this ?

Thank you in Advance for your assistance.
