A10 "Warthog" electric DF

Hi,

I posted this in the DF jets section originally however I was asked to see if I could post it here too.

I'm not the designer and I haven't built one of these fantastic Jets yet, I've left the designers details on the plan so if it causes a problem I can delete the file, it was scanned from a RCM mag sometime ago.

People who attend f/f and indoor in the UK will know of John and Pauline Hook who run Flitehook - supplies for all those small kits, accessories and the best balsa selection.

They've now got a website! Find them at http://www.flitehook.net/

Six flying wing designs by Al Backstrom
This page has a lot more files but there are just six planes. Each plan is available in 3 formats. PNG is the fastest to download but not very high resolution. The JPG files are high resolution scans of Al's articles. The DXF files are cad drawings.

Try AeroDyne at: Correction! just talked to Al Heinrich at the FF Champs. He said to use aerodyneal@aol.com

Campbell's Custom Models at: http://www.campbellscustomkits.com/ or

FAI Model Supply at: http://www.faimodelsupply.com/

I would recommend the larger Sig blue stripe fuse over the smaller red stripe if given a choice.

Tatone Timers or the similar KSB are no longer made, but some stock is still available.

New and better timers are available from: http://www.texastimers.com/

A matter of choice. I've been using the British-made red stripe fuse for over 50 years and find it very reliable, and consistent in burn speed.

Like Jim, I swear by the red stripe.
I have some 50 y.o. red stripe that acts as
a neck cord for for an old stopwatch. Both still
work!! 90 sec. per division.

Hi guys,

Just wanted you let you all know that REPLIKIT is back and with all the old keilkraft, veron, mercury, comet, skyleada, richard crossley and steve bage designs. The only difference is that we now own REPLIKIT and were not allowed to use teh keilkraft, mercury and veron names, so we have the RKK, RKVERO and RKMERC as the range. For example if you wanted a Keilkraft Eaglet you would get an RKK Eaglet.

Please visit www.replikit.com to view all these old kits available, not as print wood anymore but as either FULL LASER CUT KITS or SHORT LASER CUT KITS, i.e. plans and LASER CUT parts. This includes all the small flying scale, tru-flight ranges as full kits, most of the control line kits, gliders, rubber power and freeflight, more kits being added daily. You can also aquire hard copy plans and CD`s with 25 plans on each.

I hope that REPLIKIT will get the support that the original owners had so that we can bring these wonderfull kits back to you from our past.

Thank you for reading.

Best regards,

Mike.

DOES anybody know what happened to REPLIKITS??

Their website has abruptly disappeared from the Net. ?

Am worried they may have been clobbered by Amerang, and been sued for reproducing Keil Kraft and Veron kits.

Amerang claim to be the sole holders of the copyright for these old company titles.

Cheers. Patrick.

It's up and running now: http://www.replikit.com/

Perhaps it was just a temporary glitch with the server or some such hiccup?
