Any common problems with RC-Tek phantom?

Im thinking of trying the RC-Teck phantom 450, wich parts should i keep on hand for this bird?

As a standard get the following:

3 sets of main blades
3 flybars
3 mainshafts
3 blade grips
3 mixer arms

2 booms
2 sets of tail blades
2 tail grips
2 flybar cages

1 tail shaft
1 main gear
1 landing gear
1 tail case
1 rotor hub
1 set of linkages
1 washout block

well the good thing about this heli... rc-tek sells the whole head for like $30...So that cuts the cost down big time...

the align head will cost you around $80

He was just giving a good list of spares to keep on hand... I would just buy an extra head, blades, shafts, flybars, and tail blades... all cheap stuff really

See the thing is if you buy it then you are guaranteed to never break it since "accidents" always seem to break the parts I don't have on hand lol

Haha true.

You don't really need to have any spares on hand, he's just reccomending you a full set.

Personally I like to keep a large set of spares on hand because otherwise you're down for a few days and that's when the good weather always comes.

For the plastic version you need the upper mixing levers, blade grips, blades, feathering shafts, main shafts, flybars, main gears, tail booms, tail shafts, tail blades, landing gear. More than that really, but that's a good start.

Yes, we have CNC versions of the underslung head and tail, but have stayed away from BLUE. There are many companies selling the standard heads in that color so we do not promote it.

Uh oh, so this means you'll be selling a red anodized underslung flybar trex-450 compatible head, for a good price. Oh dear, I feel a red-themed makeover coming on for my HDX-450

They were there and sold out so we took them off.

I love the blue. I can't lie. The Silver and Red are nice but the blue! Ah well, won't be a deal breaker. I will get Red.
