F3B Raffle - Soaring USA

While our guys are battling in Switzerland a box showed up on my front
door. Not a little box but the big long ones we always get excited
once we receive it.
As some of you may know I was one of the lucky team USA F3B raffle
winners and won a brand spanking new Tsunami F3J plane donated by
Soaring USA along servo frames from servoframes.com and Hoopes
connectors.

So you are thinking I'm pretty lucky but that is not half of the
story. Just a few days after the raffle I was informed by Annette from
Soaring USA my plane was ready to ship and she wanted to confirm my
shipping address. Credit card for paying the handling, shipping and
insurance? Nope, all free. Can't get any better but it gets.
May I point I had never done any business with Soaring USA but early
this year I talked with them about a Stratos 6. If you don't know the
S6 you can take a look at their website
"http://www.soaringusa.com/products/product.htm?product_id=16547&category_id=292"
It is one amazing plane and was tied with the Espada R as my first
choice of new airplane. I ended up buying a Espada but still wanted
the S6.
So talking to Soaring USA they let me switch from the Tsunami which I
know it is a sweet plane to the Stratos 6 which is what I really
wanted, by just paying a small difference. How about that, not lucky
enough of winning a new moldie but able to switch to my plane of
choice.
If California was a bit closer to St. Louis I would go give Bob and
Annette a big hug : )

We are all lucky of having vendors going all the trouble to get our
toys but some of them like Soaring USA go beyond what you would
normally expect.

So please go to the Soaring USA website www.soaringusa.com and take a
look at the amazing number of planes and accessories they have. Bob
and Annette are a pleasure to deal with and as you can see by my
example are always ready to help you.

Did I mention the freebies? Yes, stickers, hats and shirts, got them all.

Thanks to the F3B team for putting together such amazing raffle and to
Soaring USA.

See you all at the Nats.

Go F3B USA team.
