ECO 16

Hi.
I just bought a ECO 16

What would be the cheapest motor to put in it?

And with which Pinion gear on the motor shaft?

Thanks.

I would recommend the following for the ECO 16

14-cells, Hacker B50-19L Heli, 14t pinion
16-cells, Hacker B50-21L Heli, 13 or 14t pinion

This should give you lots of power for aerobatics. These motors require 5mm pinions available from Hobby Shack. 13t is the smallest available.

You can purchase these motors and Kontronik controllers from ICARE

A suggestion is you want to keep the cost down. If you just want to hover use the ECO 8 motor and 8 to 10 cells. Then go to ECO 16 power as your skills improve.
