onthecouch,

I recently aquired a 100" electric Bristol Freighter. I havent flown it yet as still a little work to do in terms of power (liPo and brushless etc). Its a nice plane!

I look forward to seeing how the Pettigrew Ferighter turns out.

You have an Ivans Freighter and you are in Suffolk?
Whereabouts, I would love to see her fly.

Good luck when you fly her.

Welcome to RCGroups. It's pretty cool to see Ivan's planes showing up all over the world.
Luke better add him to the Ivan map
The Sealand looks good.

Vladimir, you have a very beautiful working area, not to mention a nicely done Sealand! She is very sharp and well-built. It's great to have an Ivan-builder from Russia, I think you are the first. Please do keep us informed when you fly her, and feel free to post as many pictures and information as you like.

Wilit run: Is that Freighter from an Ivan plan? From the photo I'm half inclined to say it looks built from foam. Not to say it doesn't look nice!

pentaxman,

The freighter was designed and built by Trevor Stennard (a very talented builder). It is a real work of art. it is of similar size to the Pettigrew freighter.

I fly at Raydon and District Model Flying Club located on the old Raydon airfield. In fact we have a few events lined up for 2011. One of which is an Electric day on the 14th of august where I shall definitly have the freighter. Anyone is welcome to come and there is a BBQ and Raffle.

We do have a Scale Day on the 15th of May but I do not think i can make that. However it promises to be a great day and I highly recommend it to anyone. Feel free to contact me for more details.

Thanks,
Will

Hi Vladimir,
A new Sealand and I nearly missed it! She looks very good - all the very best with the maiden flight, when your weather allows it. My Sealand will also be in a Short Brothers scheme, which I think suits this aircraft very well.
