Been awhile, I could tell

Well, it's been awhile since I posted and flew.
I finished my Easy Star and the maiden did not go as planned.
It was real windy, but I thought I could handle it. NOT !!
I lasted for about 10 short flights then I had it going pretty good,
got too confident and nosed straight in from about 30'.
I pancaked the nose, split the fuse down the center, but the lipo
came out ok. I think the cog was off some also, oh well I'll glue it up and try again.

My slowstick was doing ok till my radio started dying, so I switched radios, checked rudder and elevator servos. Yep work ok, off I go. OOPS, forgot to check the directions of the servos, DOH !!! Elevator was reversed on this radio !! Nosed in from about 5' @ w.o.t. when I pulled back on the stick, and broke the motor mount. Oh well, at least the rimfire survived. I can rebuild it, I have the technology

Oh well, bad day flyin is better than a good day working !!
