Hey madhun1,
Chris from CME Hobbies, I have these 3mm balls with threads 1.42 mm that we made for the custom swash for the fun piccolo and the piccolo swash. If you have not found them yet, send me an email cmehobbies@cmehobbies.com
Thanks

Report: xheli.com

This is my first post on these boards and it's been about 18 years since I got to feed my RC hobby I used to race off-road but always wanted to get into heli's...just was SO expensive back then.

Anyway, this is my personal experience with www.xheli.com and it was a very good one!

I noticed mochaboy (great list btw...thanks!) has them listed as a vendor selling cheap models with a "buyer beware" caution. After researching just about every vendor on that list to find a place to start my heli-hobby, I chose them. They have overseas pricing with USA shipping (company and wearhouse located in CA).

I placed my order on the evening of August 12, and although ground shipping was only $12-$13, I couldn't wait and upgraded shipping to 2-3 day air.

My initial order was for the Lama V4 (silver) but on Monday, August 13, I called and modified my order to add extra skids. The order still shipped out that evening (less than 24 hours from placing my original order). I recieved emails confirming the initial order on Sunday night, and a shipping notice with a valid tracking number that Monday night.

The package arrived right on time Wednesday about noon. So about 60 hours from original order to delivery at my door!

The packaging was excellent. Original Esky Lama box was in a tight-fitting shipping box, and both it and the skids (packed seperately) were in a larger single box. Everything arrived in perfect condition, well packed and I couldn't be happier with them.

I don't know why they are listed here as selling "cheap" (as in lesser quality the way I read it) heli's when it seems that the majority of everyone here is flying a model they sell. Maybe they don't sell the really high end stuff..but jeez, that doesn't make them a "buyer beware" vendor. It's the same exact thing almost every other vendor is selling, and they had heli models in stock that most other places were out of stock.

Can't speak for anyone else, but my experience with them was excellent in both pricing, shipping and delivery...and they were extremely nice and helpful when I called (answered very fast on first call) to make changes to my order. Can't ask for anything better as far as I can see.

This is a great price comparison site started by Crash-N-Hard. It has been extremely useful to me.

I know it's not a vendor,...helpful though.

Thanks Jay.
I've been trying my hardest to add more and more products from the different web stores online so that people can get the best prices before actually getting to the store and buying.

Thanks again.

I've found that buying from a lot of overseas places, and even a lot of US-based shops...shipping charges are outrageous. Anywhere from $15-35 markup over actual shipping costs.

I buy what i can from slickzero.com, they dont stock everything, but what they do stock they sell for the same prices as most places, and have regular mail shipping for $1.95 and priority mail USPS for $4.95, no matter what the size of the order.

I bought my CX2 extreme upgrades from them, they were packed well (better than some other shippers who charged me 7X as much) and got to me fast. Plus they're a US seller, so if you need to exchange a defective item (I haven't yet) it wouldn't be a $50 international/customs ordeal.

I can't believe that i ever got ripped off by anyone else (which has happened plenty of times), and as a marketing guy by trade, I marvel that these other places still have customers with the prices that they charge. Whatever i need that sz sells, i buy from them. the rest are just BS, 'scuse my french.
