I think they are the same basic size, looks really nice, am considering building one with no undercarriage, its got full size flaps ready to cut out and fit, I would stick retracts in it but its going to be a chore to sort out rotating ones.

Mate you need to check out the P38, its a killer plane, prolly the best buy in the GWS fleet with outrunners and all the fittings etc at the price.

Next GWS order I will try and get a spitfire added in, will just take time...

A request from all who are interested in receivers, please PM me with your frequencies!

I want to compile a list of common ones as I am placing an order tomorrow for crystals, the more info I have the better I can supply crystals.

Hi Mark.

I have a DN 36A ESC i got from you. I want to run 4 servos from it on a 3 cell lipo but i see you say on your website that it can only do 3 servos with a 3 cell lipo battery.
The ESC will be mounted on the exterior so heating won't be a problem. The servos i want to run are 2 x HS81, 1 x HS 85MG and an HS 56. The 2 81s will be for rudder and elevator, and the other 2 are for a pan/tilt mount for a miniature video camera so they will not experience high loads. Is this doable or do i need a different ESC? If so, any recommendations?

Thanks

Andrew

Hey Andy,
If the ESC is outside it should be fine, I have been running 4 servos off one of the 25A ones without issue on 3 cells. Just make sure all your controls are nice and free and the servos don't bind at any point, especially at rest.

The Corona is a dual conversion FM receiver, all you need is a dual conv crystal on your frequency and you can use it with your transmitter if it is transmitting on FM.

Thanks. I have a JR 9X series 2. Have spare 659 crystals. 770 no longer avaliable and the 77S is to pricey.

Standard JR crystals are single conversion and will not work with a dual conversion receiver like the Corona, make sure a dual conversion crystal is available on your channel. Saying that, your 9X should have the synth module and you can dial up whatever channel you want anyway.

SABRE video is up!

Here is the first snippet of Sabre video.

Running one of my balanced EDF64 fans and ERC2040 inrunner cpmbos, 4 cell 1200 & 1300mah 30c & 25c packs. This is the same setup as used in the Hawk, Tigershark and Mirage 2000. Perfect balance between power and amp draw. The ailerons were very touchy on this remaiden flight as I have been working to get the ratio between elevator and aileron correct, they are linked together as elevons. It all worked really nicely this time round and second flight with reduced aileron rates was superb.
