OK, a little update. Door moved, windows removed and few other little things.

Fred, I like the idea of a young labor force. They work for free and only need a nap and a Juicy Juice to keep going. Lunchbreaks usually include an episode of Blues Clues or Barney, but that's easily added to the budget since no formal compensation is required. Cookie bombing raids from Mom help to keep morale high. I dig the hardhats and goggles, safety first!

You'll love having a workshop. A main reason we bought the house we're in now is due to the 4-car garage,.. 22X42,.. of which only one car is parked (wife's of course),.. so the remainder is my workshop. Only thing we haven't done yet is vent AC in there. Make sure you do that.

looking good fred. mine is only 18x18 or so. tight enough with all my machinery (2 cnc router(2x3 and 2x2), 2 cnc mill (x2 and x3), bandsaw, table saw and lathe) plus 12' worth of work table. I need to sell the x2 soon.

all my helis are stored indoors though and I am trying to consolidate/reduce the numbers.

You got a permit for a 2 story garage in front of your house? The codes where you are must be WAY different than here in Florida.

Had a couple helpers again, can't do a thing with or without them

Got her all framed up with 4x6 spacers up top.
