Denial - one quick and dirty test is to hold the plane by the wing tip (nose pointed up). Apply the throttle - if the plane can support it's own weight and hold itself horizontal - it will have enough thrust to fly. If it wants to climb all the way around the wing tip and try to eat your other hand - then you have a good amount of power
![]() Pitch speed is found like this Voltage (under load) * Kv (measured or figured at 70% of listed Kv) * pitch / 1056 V*Kv can be omitted if you have a tach - Easier format = rpm*pitch/1056 = mph of pitch speed. |
