I have done this in all the build threads that I have started in the last 3 years. This includes posting photos of the packaging of the products that have found to be usefull. My coming GWS-40 Build thread will also include the latest information.

What I do not have is the information on the retailers who sell such items in cities and towns that are 3000+ kilometers from where I live.

Just got my email as well. Good to see the EB's will get a new 1060X3 prop. I'm also looking forward to getting my 3-bladers for the P-38 as well.

Historically speaking, shipping will be in the $35 region. When I purchased 2 F-15's the shipping was twice one - I don't recall a discount.

I would be interested in posting one of my famous build threads, for the GWS P-40, right here on RCGroups. Please PM me if this is something GWS would be interested in.

Hello,

Doing some research for this model, i found this picture. Can any one tell me what the wires from the wing tips to the fin are for?

I could be wrong, but I always thought that was the radio antenna. However, I was not aware the antenna went to BOTH wingtips.

Check out the pictures I took at the Chino Air Show last month...

Chen, yes I will not forget to mention that I was an EB for the P-38. I'm looking forward to getting the 3-blade props on her! I will also look into ordering extra props for my other kits (Me-109, Spitfire, Corsair). Hopefully they can be placed inside my GWS-40 box as well.

Hello May, welcome to the RCGroups forums. I will respond to your email for my GWS-40 kit shortly.

ipjodan/Red, I have seen detailed drawings of the P-40 that showed aerial wires from the outer wing area, running towards the vertical stab. Those were intersected by a wire running from just behind the cockpit to a point on the vetical stab (see first pic attached). Red, in your pics from last month's airshow, my guess is that the old style wires were removed, and replaced with a more modern aerial (look just aft of the cockpit in your pics).

I'm going to do mine after Gregory "Pappy" Boyington's 1st Pursuit Squadron plane (second pic).
