Yep. Another F/S wing. But this one is a little different ,flies and glides great!
so I decided to post some pictures.

length 17. 0" prop gws 4 x 4
AUW 6.4 Oz battery TP 350-480 3S

It is not a speeder (est.45mph). Its got dual elevons and handles well .

RC Eds Forward Swept (3 min 46 sec)

That is sweet ,I made one a while back that looks verry simular to that.I called the flyin W.
I love the way the fs handle.

I Have ben working on a design that is so close to that it is erie to see what you built.
Elevators on he back and ailerons on the outboard fs.
I have to say verry cool.

I looked at every F/S wing thread that I could find as I built this so there is no way that there isnt some of your influenceand that of many others in this.

The choice of the 250 instead of a medusa 12mm gained 3gms at the expense of at least 25mph prop speed and a little more than 1/2 ounce of thrust. Guess I know what the next one will be powered by(the 4000kv medusa)

Nice work Ed, looks 10 times more stable then my forward swept. Videos make it look like it goes wherever you point it. Looks Racey!

I wanted to try to give some better idea of the dimensions of this palne but I have only low tech hand drawn plan. hope that you can make out some detail.
I will add pictures soon and this build could use any input towards simplification in building.

Doug dropped by for a visit and brought his rendition of Ed's wing with him for a show and tell. All I can say is that it's a whole lot nicer in real life than the pictures let on. Between Ed's great design and Doug's skill with a foam cutter this is turning into a *very* interesting and cool wing. I think I may want one (hint hint to Doug).

Doug can make some awesome craft. See his creations. The Tearadon, Slo Wyte are two of my favorites. Cant wait to see more

will attach poly tubing to body for pushrod support

cg balance is close @ 8.5" from nose

fg with 1.5 ounce fg and mgs epoxy

kevlar live hinge elevons

I am trying a new prop attach method- Gavin in Ohio told me about using a 10 pinion spur gear, I heated it up with soldering gun, pressed the prop onto it and then dunked in water.

I will try to maiden tonight?

First couple of throws consisted of a nice level fast glide,
a nose heavy elevon flyer, it would not not turn. I gently backed off on throttle and brought it down.

After removing some nose weight,(twice)
then we went of the grassy side of the field)

Ed threw perfect level throws every time, powered up and at 1/2 throttle it was traveling between 50-60mph. WHEW...I had the shakes slightly trying to still bring the nose up I ran out of throw with the single ouboard elevons. A change from Eds original design having inboard elevons also.

I will re- adjust the battery and esc to move the weight towards the back a little.

This forward swept was very stable at high speeds, and I will be changing the 4025 gws prop out for a apc non-flexing prop. 1/2 to full throttle did not have a significant speed change, it was just FAST at 1/2 throttle.

It was so cool to see Dougs wing fly at least 2 x the speed of mine and that was 1/2 TO 3/4 THROTTLE ! I had more fun cause all I did was toss and watch. When doug gets video You'll Like it
I hope Someone else makes a .............. (I guess I will have to give it a name) and posts it. The foward wing makes an extremely stable plane. The 20 and 22 inch planes prove its no fluke.
My build tech is not so hi tech I use some wood foam and reynolds plastic wrap but if someone wants Ill post pix
