1/48 scale A-10

Figure I post some pick all most ready to fly....all Ready to fly done glider test....glides well....Still working on the real wing...I used Some ff Kit for this models wing It came out Ok just not happy with it...Check out the Detail one the body and the Fan Houseing
you dont see that just any where...
and its all foam

Thats terrific work Aerogel

This is what we like to see, what span is a 1/48 scale Worthogg?

Maybe get some retracts in there too?

Do you want some LEDs for Nav lights?

Better toys than Santa could bring you ....

Span is 16..Inch's
weight with out the fan units is 24 grams

Still Trying to trim it some Hope to get it around 20 grams
This is the first ProtoType....

as for retracts I been working on a set of Musle wire retracts
Nitrinol Just a Pain in the but to use...But I have used it Successfully In my Micro subs and would like to figure out how to form it... one day

Very nice looking warthog


Looks like you made a plug with a 1/48 plastic model and then sprayed some kinda foam into the mold, if so tell us more

Kirby..Dunno how this one will fly....yet.....I Know it glide's well
will find out soon.....Or have crash pic's that for sure ; )



As for how I made it.......there Is a secret shop...In the heart of a Bayou in Louisiana if you can get past my gators ill tell ya ; )

Says Swamp Works On the Sign....but you have to get in a boat to get to it : )

Foam seems like its heavier than balsa. Might have to nickname this one "porky"

This foam is heavier than balsa...But Im now working on a
process That will Hopefully show all the detail and be Equal or
lighter then Balsa...Mother nature hard to beat....
