"Is the Golden Eagle available as a kit? I only see it as pre-assembled. I see the Snow Eagle as a kit, but not the Golden."
"I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for a pre-painted as I have little time for my airbrush these days and both those versions I mentioned above look great!" .................................................. .................................................. ... This is apparently the case. I just checked out their ebay site and it reads that the Golden Eagle is only available pre-assembled and is not available as a pre-painted kit. You may want to send them an email to verify that the website is accurate. I personally think that ALL Eagle types should be available as prepainted kits. |

I have just received the Flying Chinken (scaled down version of the eagle) and I am trying to decide on the glue to use for assembly.
The instructions for the eagle suggest hot glue, but since it is quite messy to use I was wondering if the GWS glue (contant cement) would work or if epoxy is an alternative. Thanks |

the Eagle is so light that painting of ANY kind is not going to be a problem. I posted earlier that i've reinforced the fuze with coroplast, added landing gear and feathers (quail if i remember correctly) and it jumps into the air in about six feet. i used hot glue to do the whole thing. Flyparty- thanks for the kudos, i am honored . please keep up the creativity! a ducted pterodactyl (pteroductyl?) perhaps?
