OK, so the main difference is the old fuse had a bolt-on wing, and the new fuse has a shoulder mounted wing with a pass-through joiner.

I was wondering if the tails were the same and the layups the same ect.

52 oz is light!

Yep everything is the same. Its like he bolted on the wing and cut it off to make the new root. Its exactly the same span.

52oz is about 69-71oz RTF. Sounds right to me!

gidday mike...will have to take some core samples of the new altus.....looks a nice toy...should have a ball at the worlds in a couple of weeks.....driving from frankfurt to lucerne ...get to do a bit of sightseeing on the way.....cheers

Thanks Dave, thought is was about time...
and Target, Dave is right about the Altus differences. It was originally designed as a one piece wing, and Dieter did Daryl and I a big favor by building us one, and making it a two piece.

The new one looks great BTW

Can't wait Craig. You are Roudy should be a blast to hang out with. But, my kiwi friend, you are not allowed anywhere near my gliders with any sort of tool capable of making core samples....:-)
