LOL - they certainly don't come cheap do they? But Martin's craftsmanship is well worth paying for and it is a sensational design! Money well spent JS.

I agree there Greg.
Looks fast without flying.

Martin is a good friend of mine and I have been flying the Radical for some time. I think what is really missed is the design and construction that you don't see on the surface. They are incredibly well built airplanes, built by true artisans. And without a doubt, one of the sexiest airplanes EVER!

Amen to that Avaldes - we're just starting to fly them in F3F here in the UK, but the build quality (especially with the F3F lay-up) and performance is really impressive.

Regards,
Greg

Good deal. Unfortunately I have seen the inside of a few Radical wings and the attention to detail is great. Expensive planes but you get a lot for your money. And no, I don't get any royalties or special deals...just a happy camper

There are a few happy people with Radicals.
The nice thing is that they are not massed produced like other eurotrash (Excuse the pun !).

Glad I went the direction I have with one.

Nice Pace. How does she go compared with other similar gliders?

I don't know I haven't really flown a sort of nearly DS weight mouldie before.
The way the model works out I had to balance it so that there is always 400g of ballast in it, so you are flying a fairly heavy model, given the span is slightly under 100 inches.

They way it flies is with a lot of momentum. It kind of reminds me me of my thorn, but a bit more sensible.

I would think with the VX it would depend a lot on the version you buy. With my vxe and min 400g of ballast, I would think it will fly different to the H or L version with no ballast.

I think you would have not like gliding very much to not like this model. Or maybe if you only interest is vtpr aerobatics or something.

Any one treat themselves over the Summer? Why not post an image of your latest moldie here?

What about an image of the F3J WC winning plane?
