Great two day OVSS event. I think this event was their 10 or 11th open contest in a row. I probably dont have that correct.

It is amazing to me that showing up on a MidWestern soaring field feels as much as home as Our own field does. ( maybe Im dating myself here)

Alot of the faces are the same old ones from yester-year. (consider botox)
But alot of faces are newer pilots as well as field assisstance. Its good to see,,, thanks and welcome!
I also found out that the club will benefit from having Mark Miller of Isthmus Models flying/moving there. Im jealous!

Again ,,, thanks for the soaring event and the warm greetings MVSA.

In these busy complicated times,,,, its very comforting to take a valuable weekend away from the beaten track and find a soaring field to fly on for the weekend!

Anyone feel sick today? Like sick enough to go stand on a Dam in
southern Indiana and fly in circles, really fast?

South winds, 20-30+ . Enough to make anyone else sick? Should
stretch into the evening, might make a decent 2nd half of the day
(better than s/w support, at least).

It's been a horrible sloping season, hate to miss a day like this.
Just floating the idea.
