Kits look like they will be delayed a week because I need better wood. I am weighing each peice now and anything over 8 pound a sq. ft. is being thrown away. Right now only 25% is being kept. Hopefully I'll find better wood at the end of the pile. I have 1000 sheets to weigh and sort.

An 8 pound 24x3x1/8th wood should weigh 19g. I have found a few dozen peices that weigh 46g, that is 20 pound a sq. ft. wood..!!!!

Here is a progress shot of my Tiny X. The multi-color flames were laser cut from real gold leaf and lightly airbrushed with translucent paints. The pilot was hand carved from African Rain Forest mahagony and is a scale replica of Todd himself. Looks like he forgot to zip up his jump suit! Note the the Hacker brushless motor and 12x10 prop in the background ready for mounting. Can you say "torque rolls"? Battery pack is undecided, but I'm leaning towards solar cells.

LOL !!!

Wow that's funny, Tres isn't too bitter.... I wonder if Todd's Shopping Cart program can automatically detect, and discard Tres's credit card order???

Todd- That Description on your site totally caught me off guard, and was hysterical! Not too many people would deface thier site just to tweak somone.

LOL! Hope you guys don't think we were serious, Todd and I have the same bizarre sense of humor and have a lot of fun with it! We've talked on the phone many times and have shared plenty of PMs. This was all meant in fun, we both got a big laugh out of it. Plus he has promised me that he will be sending my Tiny X any day now so I can build it and post my beta test results.

OK, I made that last part up.

As seen on TV !

My Tiny-X flies very well, thank you Todd for another top-quality kit !

At just 4800 grams, it will hover forever on the stock DX-A and a
parallel pack of motorcycle batteries (you will need A LOT of Velcro) !

I even use it as a tow plane for my 3-meter gliders.

Todd RULE !

P.S.: How is that for a pre-release review ?

They're finally here!

Tip #1 - buy a kit (shipping Monday, 4 Nov. '02)

Tip #2 - read the instructions

Tip #3 - follow the instructions

The Tiny-X production line is now in full swing , deep in the bowels of the Dead Possum Works!

A whole bank of web servers is standing by, waiting for your on-line orders! Don't delay, be the first on your block to get a Tiny-X; production is limited so order NOW!
