.I am also waiting on a reply from the seller,of a multiplex ASW 27b-2.6 metre. Its got all radio installed and has flaps, only thing to add is my receiver.Hoping he gets back to me,so l can purchase it, for a bargain price. It has alot more wing area than my ASW 28-2.6 metre, the wingloading would be alot lower-good for thermal or slope.Heres my ASW 28-regards damo

I'm now at the throw setting stage, i read about 8mm of up elevator in a earlier post, where is this measured from?

Is it from the inside edges or outside?

Also, is it o.k to have the rudder at max deflection?

Rudder as much as you can get it wont hurt that 8.0mm elevator throw is maximum thats up and down deflection measured from centre best to start with 6.0mm up and down preferably. Set the 2 throws on a rate switch and launch with the lower settings.

Steve, can i just ask quickly about the small amount of wash out you spoke about in a earlier post.

You mentioned having ailerons up about the thickness of the leading edge.
I take it thats both ailerons?
If so i might well have that on a rate switch also.

Its Reflex and its the thickness of the Trailing edge but its used to induce washout
and reduces tip stall tendency. The 28 flys the best out of the lot of 2.6mtr lot .
Just dont try and float the thing just let it fly you'll love it.

Yes both ailerons are raised slightly above the Trailing edge of the wing

cockpit floor

Hi all,

I'm just finishing mine (just started making a semi-scale cockpit) and I noticed that many of you used the black cockpit floor included in the kit.
I was not going to use it anyway as I want to make a full-depth cockpit.
But just out of curiosity; Mine is more than 6 mm (1/4") wider than the cockpit opening. How did you guys solve that, or did this particular part fit better on some kits?

Thanks in advance,
GJ

You may not be short of ideas for the cockpit but a friend of mine built a custom "scale" cockpit for his ASH 26. You can see his thread here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=798983
