Thats the main reason for getting the Dremel Stylus. Cordless sanding & cutting in the house. Thank god I'm single.

That's right, it's winter or close to it, for you guys down there. While we were freezing our tails off here you were enjoying summertime. Can't wait to see what you build next.

Yippiahee, i got mine,yesterday..

But look at the pictures.....

After connecting the Tail,getting it down to the bottom, u can see, that the Frontside of the fuselage is going to 11 O Clock...

I know, it's cold right now. I was all psyched to bag up some wings tonight... only got the mylar sprayed (outside of course...) The cold and dark got me.

I used Windex to moisten the area 1st, thus allowing adjustment of the final location. Hand towels are then used to squeegee out the fluid and mop up the mess.

Time to carpet fly.

Just need radio setup & balance. Bring on the weekend

The scalies at Hollowback are now on July 1 if you didn't know.

Glen ..have u flown your ASW28...how does it compare with the DG??? With the 8mm joiner bar must feel more solid. What is the speed like??? I got the prototype with the 6mm joiner bar, I never did fly it but sold it to a friend...too much work digging the sleeve out to replace it with 8mm.

Unfortunately the weather may stop my flying session tomorrow.

My youngest son has developed a devil of a cold and the forecast for Ballarat is for a maximum of 9. Add the wind chill factor and I don't think it's the right environment for a sick youngster.

The wind is also supposed to be less than 10 kt until very late in the arvo.

Maybe start another scalie build

After some trimming, it was so great!

She looks very big and not like an 2,50m glider

Just got my ASW 28 today.
Shipping was cheap from Hong Kong to the Caribbean only 59usd.....it took 7 weeks.
Overall I am very impressed with the quality of the kit ,the fuselage is stronger and lighter than I had imagined and has some nice laser cut bulkheads glued in.
Yes the vertical tailplane is off to one side I will try and heat the fuse and tilt back upright then repaint this area...I think this fault will soon be adressed with a new V2 ASW fuse.
Unfortunatly the ends of my wings were slightly crushed in shipping I will have to strip the covering and fix ,hopefully not adding to much weight to the outer panels.

Overall I am very happy and for the price ,it looks like it is going to be a great fun model.
Mine will be an electric version ..now which Hacker motor should I use....
