WATERPUMP upgrade pack for ROBBE U47

Now we have 3 version of this boat.
1)Gas propel system, many people like this becasue of realstic bubble !But we only can supply lighting gas may cause some safety problem.
2)Airpump system,it's more fast and save electric but because we used a large airbag, the air-pressre change volume inside tube, somebody claim some leak.
3)Waterpump ,we used a large high-performance waterpump and big soleniod. The system work very well, diving and floating stabilize and quickly.

Below video show a waterpump vesion which test 10 times no any leak.

VIDEO in youtube here:

Static diving&floating of U47 submarine(waterpump) (2 min 7 sec)

Underwater-1 of U47 submarine(waterpump) (2 min 36 sec)

I always say a bladder bag and a water pump is the best and most realistic way to have static capabilities.

"I always say a bladder bag and a water pump is the best and most realistic way to have static capabilities."

And this is based on how many years of experience? How many boats you've built?

First, let's discuss your definition of "realistic" and "static capabilities". To me, these terms describe what the real boat actually looks like while diving as well as the amount of (scale) time it takes to dive. I've never seen a bladder equipped boat compare to a Propel boat as far as diving realistically is concerned. The pump just takes too much time, both diving and surfacing. As a matter of fact, the only pump type boat I can think of that looks truly scale in diving and surfacing is the Marlin. This doesn't mean it's the only one that will do that, but it's the only one I can say that I've seen.

As far as "best" is concerned, you're forgetting the piston type systems.

And before anybody gets all over my case, no, I am not espousing the virtues of Propel but merely stating that the combination of the always open holes in the bottom of the tank combined with an appropriately sized vent hole just WORKS.

I have built four boats.
One is the Robbe Seawolf, with my water pump conversion.
The other three are Seaviews.
Two are Merryman gas, one is big Dave RCABS.

I will take water pump and RCABS over gas, as I have put all three in action, explored the possibilities of each ones capabilities in "looking scale" and am happy to report that yes, water pumps rule and RCABS is a very close second or tie for first....gas is my third of the three for what I want from a static sub.
