Thanks for such a prompt response, I'm sorry I didn't think to look for it sooner! I'll try doing the spar first, then putting the perimeter together around it and the ribs. And thanks for the cad drawing of the skid, I was going to make mine a lot bigger.

Anyone having problems attaining 45 deg of up on the elevator? My rudder limits the throw to only 25 - 30 deg. Any ideas? I have not glued the vertical stab yet.

Have not opened my arf yet, but looking at this pic, if you want more elevator deflection you may need to trim a 1/2" off the bottom of the rudder. Probably never miss it...

Or you could remove the portion of elevator that hits the rudder...you might miss that, but then again..

Do you really need 45* of elevator motion? It will likely loop within it's own length then..!

I see the elevator is one piece so I would trim the bottom of the rudder to obtain more deflection..
