The stock setup is plenty IMO. That hacker moves plenty quick! This little thing scoots!! And the motor is fairly efficient.

how does the hacker compare to the Park 250? What kind of flight times and vertical would I expect with the stock/recommended setup?

Thanks for the replies guys!

It is so small that I don't really do much vertical with it. I can't compare it to the 250 since I have only flown it with the hacker. You can watch a video of it in flight with the hacker setup and a review here.

I have never flown the MSSX with the hacker on it, but I have seen it fly, and I can say that they seem about the same. My only problem is I only get a 5 minute or less flight on my 300 Mah battery

I am guessing I got like 6~8 minutes on a 480 pack with the hacker. Never timed it, so that could be a bit off. Just a guess.

Welcome to the Micro SSX thread. I have flown the micro with both motors. I cannot tell the difference. I get great performance from both. You can order the micro as a package with the hacker motor, but not the E-Flight motor.

Hey guys thanks for the support.

You guys are great. I'll be giving you a call this week James to place an order. I like the package idea, no brainer!

From the looks of your avatar, that might be the best choice

Ha! Nice...not everyone recognizes that shot. Not really an alter ego, just a hillarious moment in cinema history.

480mah Thunderpower or the 730mah?????

Looks like about 11 grams heavier with the 730 but I'd sure love the longer flight times. The plane should be hear any day and I've already got the rest of the gear waiting to go!
