DANG.. I am slippin. I can't believe build threads have been going that long and I hadn't even check them out. Thanks for the links guys! I need to sell off a bunch of extra inventory and give James a ring. I want to build a SSX Canard and get a Bipe, but I don't want to sacrifice my micro SSX kit to the canard. I have yet to build the second Micro SSX I bought, have been thinking about the Canard since I have all the other parts. But I think I will just get another Micro wing when I buy a biplane kit.

I went to an indoor today and damaged the original MSSX I bought last year. Nosed her in and the motor came off. Just need to CA the wood support back on to the stick and the back plate. Was a clean separation, so I think she is fine. Need to test the motor though. Didn't even break the prop!! Tough little bird. But I doubt I will fly her in a gym in the future. Just too quick for me, and I found out I suck at indoor flight today

Oopsie!!

Well it's another slow Monday at work so I brought in my microSS ARF to assemble.

One word of advice !!

Don't twist the fuselage CF rod to get it through tight holes.

use an exacto to open up the holes and don't be lazy like me.

Mine cracked and now twists easily and bends- kinda like the CF came unwound.

Need to get another CF tube from you James

Tiny little plane kicked my butt today

I just stumbled upon this thread, what a cool looking plane! I have to get one for the fields near my house.

Has everyone been using the reccomended Hacker motor and 2s lipo? Does this plane move pretty well with the Hacker or does someone have an upgrade for more performance they'd reccomend. Keep in mind of course, I'm the guy who crams a 1.10 4 stroke in a .40 size plane.
