Hi James. Sorry I never got to see you. Trip was crazy busy. I did get out to Narcoossee Sat and Sunday evening but late. Next time.
I eventually got my SSX going and flew it Sunday. With the slightly heavier servos the CG is too far back . Will fix that this week and fly it again on Sat more than likely. One thing for sure though...it's very quick! Had a bit of interest. When I get it right we will see how many want one :-) |

Tail Mount Confusion
Many of you have expressed confusion over how the tail mount goes together. This should clear things up.
Keep in mind that the CG, no matter which length tail, must be kept no more than 1” after the main spar. I have found that I get the best flying 1/2” after the spar. I fly sport not 3D. If you want to hover, move the CG 1” after the spar. The best way to set this plane up for all around flying is to have the battery in a position to move it forward or back starting at the 1/2” aft CG. |
