DE-SWADJ Adjustable Switching Voltage Regulator

I bought one of these. I've down loaded the pdf of the instructions. I can't for the life of me figure out how it works. I mean at the very simplest, most basic level I can't see how it is hooked up. HOW DOES IT WORK!!!!! Where does the battery connect to the voltage regulator? Then, how does that connect to the receiver/servos? I've converted and flown 20 planes. I've rigged the biggest Axi, Hacker and Neu motors with 15s power systems and I can't for the life of me figure out how this works. Why does Dimension Engineering have to make it so difficult? How about posting a simple photo of a fully rigged voltage regulator. I'd very much appreciate that bit of guidance. If not a photo how about dropping bread crumbs...

Its a voltage regulator in standard 7805 pinout. The three little pins at the bottom are what you connect to whatever you're powering:

GND should be shared between input and output.

Assuming that you're looking to use this as a BEC of some flavour, you'd attach your input battery wires to Vin and Gnd. Then you'd attach your output battery wires to Vout and Gnd. There should be two wires soldered to GND in this case.

However, if you're using it as a BEC, it would be MUCH easier to use our ParkBEC or SportBEC, unless you have an application that needs other than 5v or 6v. SW-ADJ is more general-purpose, at a cost of being harder to use.

Here's a few example diagrams on how to use a DE-SW050 to power video transmitters. The SWADJ should operate in a similar way
http://www.dimensionengineering.com/...o_tutorial.htm

With the SWADJ, you would have to use your multimeter to check the output voltage is set to the voltage you want

However using a SWADJ to power a receiver & servos isn't really an ideal match, and it would be better to use one of these products instead as they are specifically designed around powering receivers & servos with minimum wiring hassle

Duh. I finally get it. Thank you so very much for posting these pictures. Where on earth did you find them? It would be so great if they would accompany your written directions or if they were available at your website. This is very helpful. Thank you.
