Can I use my Multiplex Duo 400 30 amp ESC on a Cobalt motor

Well the topic name says it all.

This speed control is from my Twinstar and is used on the cheaper motors. Is it ok to use on a cobalt motor, like an Astroflight, or Maxx cobalt. I already have one on hand, and then I can use it, instead of buying another one, as I'm on a fixed budget.

Anybody out there got a used 05 on a gearbox?

The ESC dont care if its a cheap ferrite or an expensive cobalt/neodym motor. So yeah it will work no problem. Just stay within the ESC's specs and you'll be just fine.

Happy flying!
