If you are noting Blackheath,
Would it be good to include the one at Leura, Mt Hay Rd , Flat Top.

Has anyone noticed the wind forecast for the coming weekend? It is currently showing no rain and winds out the S-NE. I thought the season at Otford was done for until Summer but it might actually be good this weekend.

I dont trust it Fred they predicted WSW and SW yesterday and I'm more inclined to believe that direction this time of year.

Fred, It's still only Wednesday and it could be hailing with winds from the NW by the weekend. Hopefully it will still be reading from the S or SE on Saturday by Friday afternoon even then it may come in under the strength they predict.

You know, I think you guys are right. I had a look again and I think the period on Saturday when it is supposed to blow from the SE is now only a very short length of time around midday. Sunday now looks to be written off altogether. And yes, it could be totally different by Saturday morning.

I knew it was too good to be true. I get my hopes up only to have them dashed shortly after. I think they do it deliberately.

I'm still hoping too. If there's any hint of SE on Sat I'll be down there with my EGlider even if it's to sit back and watch it laze around the sky. I've been missing the lovely view as well.

Steve, Should be a nice plane if it's anything like it's little brother. Can't wait to see it fly (if only there was a decent southerly on Sat )

I think its a bit of a lottery with the revolution models.
The speedo Thermo is great but the next one the Ultra thermo ???? 1.5m ?
is really " the opposite " .......There is a weak spot on the wing near the ailerons.
I have often looked at that 1.8 m one...Very nice looking.
Love that V tail look...But I'm afraid to waste money in case its like the Ultra.
so its good that you are going to be our Guinea pig on this one Steve...Thanks Mate
Glenn.

Fred, after the sandon Point forecast,,,,,which was much better than this one at the moment......
As you said they over state the Values.
You will probably be needing bungy with a thermalling machine.

I have the equipment and the technology to make it better stronger faster even if itis a light layup , its not as low in price as the speedo though . The ultra is a scale version of the fox for eletrics with a completely different wing setup, the passer and speedo have the same wing setup so i'm pretty sure that it will be of similar quality.
