Steam Launch Build

OK< Here we go, first I select a reasonable flat board to do layout on, The hull is 45" x 12.5" and I will be working to aproxamatlly 1/8 scale so this will work out to be 30 foot boat. The basic shape is that of a "double ender" or a "life boat" with out side rudder mounted off the stern post.
Next I made a simple fixture to hold the hull with the sternpost vertical for layout.
The outline plan sheet calls for 1.00" rise in the keel at the bow.
then I draw the mean water line on the outside of the hull.
I made a "over arm" layout tool to draw a line inside the hull to give me a " level" floor. It is very important that the boiler be installed parralle to the water line with the boat at rest. Last I mock up the stuffing tube and power plant to check overall layout.
Look over the photos, I hope they explain what im doing
