Finally got back into planes. I got a mini ifo kit for my bday. Waiting on servos to maiden. May build demon next, old school with riteweave.

Riteweave is still new-school. Only thing that's "outdated" is Monokote. Been replaced with 3-5mil laminating film. Though truth be told, I personally don't see a problem with Mono. The glass weave/90 gets all the tensile strength the wing needs. Anything more is just scuff resistance. My latest 3.5kW Demon is Mono'd!

insul mesh
Insulation contractors that blow in cellulose insulation (dense pack) sometimes staple up a mesh that seems like it could be suitable as a substitute for Henry's. Rolls are around eight feet wide. Has anyone tried that for strengthening (the cores)? Will try to get a pic/sample.

yeah it is a lot bigger than the D40 but it's gonna fly nicer too, at a lower wing loading. if you have a good size field it would be a killer

well my demon 40 only does about 110mph on 1000w, i would guess you could do that with the ZXR right? even the old demon on crack video he posted would have only been a 120 demon rite???
