HELP HELP0 HELP HELP

My .48 or 50 inch ritewing is around four years old bought used in hobby store so i didnt build and there is or was no signs of damage i installed my own electronics

ok so ill try to explain as good as I can. ok so I moved cg to 7 3/4 and took it out added some up to the elevators and dialed ailerons down more and checked cg. did glide test looked good , so threw in air and it rolled right, and so I went left and then it rolled left and I went leftand so on and on--- so basically I was chasing the roll movement so I landed. took most of elevator up trim out and adjusted thrust of motor and tried again and this time when I threw it was straight and true went a little above 1/4 throttle and she was looking really good, tiped right then left felt good so I gave her some more throttle and she was still looking good and that’s when it happened it went into death spiral I went left, right, right , left, right and she was in un- controable spin to the earth bammmmmmmmmmm and I said ok enough for tonight so any help or ideas would be helpful

16/40/1 on 5S 2200 with a 4.2x5.5 ~2200W, 4.75x4.75 was pulling 48krpm, prop was going supersonic (and sucked... )

That airframes been retired, was a bit of a pig too fly at twice the speed it was designed too. Best dopler I got was 195, but it wouldve hit over 200mph just got no proof!, it was a pig to keep straight and level, as well as baby it through the turns to keep it in one peice...

New airframe ordered

I just figured, if its possible to fit 6S 1800 into an IYF30, 5S 2000 would fit!

Oh...
Thought you ripped out the 30's power system and stuck it in the Stiletto.

16/40/1 is too big a motor for a 30" wing.
I can't think of anyone who would try that...
Just silly...

Although my 30" DOES have a 28mm clamshell...
And the Mega 16/40/1 IS a 28mm motor...

Wonder if I can jam any more Lipo in my wing. Might need to do some mining of the battery bay.

dial it back down there is a point in a wings life that too much throw and too tight of a loop will invoke a high speed stall and the air going over the control surfaces becomes unbalenced and the wing will snap out of the loop.. if you want the higher roll rates increase aliron but not elevator throws and you will get a better flying wing...

the 36 inch lightning is more ceceptible to this due to the narrow balence and short wing span.

Also this is not justa ritewing problem but wings in genral..

Got a photo? Guessing its a tl50
What are your throws, just sounds like too much deflection on your surfaces

Where did you get the cg point from, did you measure and check it with a cg calc ?

throws are about ummmmm a little more than half inch total throw on aiel, and 3/4 or a tad more on elevator. no damage to airframe or sparing. cg was giving to me by chris i believe the designer but this is what i foung but it could of been from crash. one jr ds3421 servo bad gear and at 7 3/4 back from tip of nose is a little nose heavy but at 7 1/2 it is wayyyy tail heav. so i moved cg aging to 7 1/2 and when rain lets off i will try again.

ok thnk austrialian asked lol radio lock out? what receiver? dx7 and full range with satelite spectrum recieverservos dead? any signs of damage not from the crash? linkages all secure? horns still attached? found one bad but possible from crash jr ds3421 all secure
any breakages on landing? possible servo

mike-heli,

Which prop in that picture? ......same APC 7X6 Sport?

That is a decent motor. Does not have great resistance numbers though. So careful how far you push it in future. It has similar size and weight to HET 2W-30, MEGA 16/30/X, NEU 1112 series.

It should make a good match up on 4S and 7" prop!!!
