yep, that's me. I don't need to have the fastest wing, but do like decent speed. I do like to build with options in mind. never can tell what will happen.

I started out with 3s 3300's in my 40 Slice.....but had to add weight. It balances well with a 3s 3700 with a HET 3w hangn' off the back.

im puttin 2gether a e-zipper nd im stuck on tha covering part....if i go with econokote wat temp would be perfect 4 a tight smooth wrap but no bowing of tha foam? and wat would be better 2 use: a hot iron or a heat gun?

Use the lowest heat possible just enough to stick it. You need to use an iron, heatguns are more for shrinking. Have fun.

Atom1025 built me a couple of TL 50's I just got Wednesday and I've been throwing the electronics and stuff on them. The first one I have to fly first, tomorrow, is the TL 50 which is down Rite Lite. The really cool thing about it is the MicroDan motor and mount which is Beautiful I like how Atom made the entry way for the wires.

This little puppy just static'd at 32 amps at 330 watts with a 6X4 prop and TP 3s 2200mah Batt..........Is that pushing this little 1 1/4 oz motor too much

Just had to post a couple of pics for now......will go out and take some of the whole plane. It's hard for me to just snap a few quick shots.....they have to be Rite........Thanks Adam and CK!!

Fly_boy, Atom built the plane and he got a few of the early prototypes of the mount remember. If you IM or e-mail Dan he can let you konw if he has any ready yet. I think he has some ready just not on the web site.

Or that's the jist of what I've gotten from the threads.

I got two from adam because they were not ready but i think they are around the corner..

I am putting a sporster together now and amd using that mount and my old komodo double with the 6mag can its KV is a bit low on the 3s setup but im shooting for lite..

If i get luck and can figure how to carry this one on the plane i hope to have it at aef too...

320W is nothing for that motor, I run it on the test stand at 450W for near 30min, only shut it down because I was scaring the wife.
