I say enerland cells are the best but if size is a major concern then maxamps has a 3s 3000mah that says its 17mm thick? I think they would be fine at 40 amps, but doubtful about 60.

One of the best parts of having a CK built wing is the excitement of not knowing what colors he will choose! Its like christmas waiting to get that box and seeing it for the first time.

Wow!!

I'll take it!! I've learned, just give ck your basic request and he'll fill in the blanks with the up to the minute latest Hot Setup Yesterday's hot tips are old news. All I wanted was a light/strong good looking TL50 that I could tell the top side from the bottom, and look what I got............Awesome!! I have a small business, but am addicted to connaisseur flying. Every day my motivation to finish early is to have some time to fly after work. I've got nearly 20 planes now, but always take my TL 50 with me when I go to fly. It's so great to have a rock solid acrobatic plane that can handle a few mistakes and give you a relaxing 100 mph+ performance with full acrobatic performance I panicked when my last CK built TL 50 seemingly bit the dust. I called Chris and promptly ordered 2 new cores and a custom build. Remarkably, I was ably to fully repair my old one ( 18 months old ) and will now have 2 Hot TL 50's ......Thanks!!

The 4th 80 inches of FREEDOM special.

Hey wingers ,For the week of the 4th ,I will sell the standard 40 Demon and 40 slice proto kits for the price of the Demon, 2 fer one.
They are both 3 spar and include motor mounts clams , carbon ,elevon stock and coro
Just remeber guys you dont have to build the Demon to be a monster to have smokin performance.I put 2 differant main spar slots so you can do a lite 3s build or a lite 4s build,or a 6s monster.

Not too many of you guys have ever built one as a lite one ,the Demon is a whole differant wing when built lite ,it will do nice floatie aerobatics ,and track awesome when wicked up.

Pm me if you are interested.

My Demon lite is almost done! I am hoping it is as great as the TL lite. Just waiting on servos and she'll be out and about!

Gear consist of:

Mega 16-7-7 (41g)
CC 25 (17g)
x2 HS5245 (64g)
Berg 4l (4g)
tp4200 3s2p (290g)

total (416g)or(14.6oz)

I really think I can get her under 30oz AUW no problem, but I am aiming for 25oz. High hopes!

Maiden tonight at 8pm!

AUW 29.8oz!!! Woohoo! I got it under 30 and I am proud of that! No lead was added! I put in the batt and the CG was on!

No pics till the sis inlaw sends them to me from her camera! I'll chime back in after the maiden.

No luck?

She is balanced at 7.5 but it was having tail heavy symptoms, just was'nt flying? We did a power off chuck and it was all over the place. Very strange? No major damage just a broken prop and some wrinkles in the nose.

My only thoughts are that I cut the motor in so far that I lost that bit of wing area? Who knows?

I'll try again later with the CG moved forward and see what happens.

Pix? ,lite is touchy on this airfoil ,my rates ar 35 % on my lite and if you cut in the motor to far you will loose you elevator effect somwhat because your elevons get smaller and your chords is gone.
The chord is what gives you the stabilty.it ends up flying like a pitchy plank that is real sensative ,and the cg needs to be dead on.
good luck bro.

TL60... Getting there!!!

I have the top covered!

I am super proud of this one! Its the smoothest and cleanest build I have done to date, the covering is super smooth! No spackle was used for this smooth finish, I just spent a little bit extra time and care on this one!

I have everything I need to complete the build except for a prop adapter to mate to the 5mm gearbox output.

I have a feeling this is gonna be the best flyer yet! The TL50 is going to be jealous!
